Hospitality Job Coach – Disability Services

We currently have an exciting full time Hospitality Job Coach opportunity in our Supported Employment Division. This role involves working in a café located in our Head Office/Logistics department in Keysborough. A key function of the role will be working alongside people with a disability, engaging in work activities, providing support and helping them improve their skills and knowledge, while building their independence. You will be working with individual supported employees as well as small groups of up to 4 people, to help them achieve their goals.

    Job Coach – Disability Services

    We currently have an exciting full time opportunity in our Supported Employment Division. The employment division covers supported work in warehousing, production, hospitality, administration and commercial gardening & outdoor maintenance.

    The successful person will have work experience in any one of these areas. A key function of the role will be working alongside people with a disability, engaging in work activities, providing support and helping them improve their skills and knowledge, while building their independence. You will be working with individual supported employees as well as small groups of up to 6 people, to help them achieve their goals. The role is based in Keysborough.

      Talent Acquisition and Volunteer Services Coordinator

      Reporting to the People and Culture Services Lead and working within a close-knit and supportive team, help drive staff and volunteer recruitment and selection administration process during this exciting phase of growth in this hands-on fast paced role. Specific duties include:

      • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for staff and volunteers
      • Provide support, management and maintenance of the volunteer lifecycle
      • Develop and place job advertisements
      • Screening candidates
      • Interviewing
      • Reference checks
      • Administration of contracts
      • Liaise with other stakeholders within the organisation on business requirements
      • Search for alternative ways to attract candidates

      This role is full time and is based in Keysborough but will require frequent travel to other regions within the South East including Sages Cottage Farm in Baxter. We’re looking for someone passionate about this space, with an innovative approach, exceptional communication and customer service skills who is ready to hit the ground running!

        Crew Leader (Gardener/Job Coach)

        We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Land Management Services Division for a Crew Leader (Gardener/Job Coach).

        This is a full time role, perfect for an experienced gardener or grounds maintenance person looking to work on a variety of contracts whilst supporting a crew of up to 4 people each day, all with different abilities and a desire to learn new skills.

        If you’re proactive, passionate and results driven, experienced in commercial gardens maintenance and are keen to put your experience into practice, while also supporting people with disabilities reach their goals, we would love to hear from you!

        What you’ll need to succeed

        • Grounds and gardens maintenance qualifications or experience
        • Experience in the use and operation of horticultural equipment including ride on mowers
        • A good level of mechanical aptitude
        • Experience in working with people with different abilities is highly desirable but not essential
        • Good communication skills; ability to prevent and resolve issues and to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
        • Ability to advocate and promote community inclusion and person centred support that exceeds standards and is delivered within the available resources
        • Good administration skills and computer literacy in order to complete appropriate documentation
        • Highly motivated and outcome driven to complete allotted tasks
        • Ability to meet the goals and objectives of the team while working in an independent environment
        • Commitment to exceptional service delivery and a demonstrated professional approach to work

          Disability Support Coach – Rover – Community (Day Services)

          Are you a disability worker who enjoys working across multiple sites, exploring different work environments and meeting new people? Then this role if for you!

          We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our Community (Day Services) division for a Rover Disability Support Coach. This role is part time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday and will involve working at different Wallara sites across Melbourne’s South East area.

          You will be joining dynamic, self empowered teams, passionate about supporting people with different abilities to live the way they choose.

              Disability Support Lead (Team Leader) – Day Services

              We are searching for a passionate Support Lead with experience in leading a team and collaborating with clients and families to ensure the absolute best support is provided. It is a full-time position, located in Pakenham with movement between sites as business requires.

              Days are Monday – Friday and hours are 8:30am – 4:06pm.

              You’ll need to thrive in a busy, fast paced environment, have fantastic interpersonal skills and love collaborating with other divisions to create exceptional client experiences.

              You must have excellent administration and computer skills and the ability to work both autonomously as well as collaboratively with management and other Wallara divisions.
