Our passionate and skilled team can create and tailor an extensive range of supported activities for individuals or small groups that will have you:
• Connect into the community
• Try new things and step out of your comfort zone

• Develop skills for everyday life
• Find creative ways to meet your life goals
• Have fun and relax!
Recreational and Social Events are offered as three streams:
Explore Activities Week is offered during the four term break periods from day service programs:
- Autumn, Winter and Spring – one week of activities
- Summer – two weeks of activities
Our passionate and skilled team provide fun, engaging and enriching activities that are also a great opportunity to meet new people and build social skills. Each activity is designed from participant feedback and suggestions. We tailor our activities to suit varied interests, goals and abilities.
Activities may include:
- Cooking and Baking
- Singing, Acting and Dancing
- Swimming
- Ten Pin Bowling
- Football experiences
- Wildlife Parks and Zoo’s
- Museums
- Live Shows
- Disco’s
- Onsite Beanbag Cinemas

Wallara offers personalised, supported activities on weekends. The choice is yours. You can explore your local community, your favourite tourist attraction, café or restaurant or just enjoy a picnic in the park.
Building on both independent living and social skills, this is a great way to explore new things to do on the weekend.
Some activities include:
- Going to a live music gig
- Enjoying dinner at a restaurant
- Being entertained at the movies
- Going on a day trip
- Having a picnic or barbeque in the park
- A weekend away

What are the costs to attend?
Additional costs do apply to these activities that will depend on program you wish to participate in and may include;
• Out of pocket expenses such as travel costs, resources/materials and entry fees
• NDIS cost dependent on the number of people (ratio) participating in the activity. This will be charged against your NDIS Plan.
• Weekend getaways and camps will be quoted on a case by case basis.
