Flexible Working: Wallara is a flexible employer and committed to providing flexible work options that are beneficial for our staff, the organisation and our clients.
Professional Development: Paid mandatory training each year, usually equivalent to three days, is provided including first aid training, simulated manual handling and accredited Medication training. Available for all disability support employees.
Opportunities to upskill including but not limited to LEAD program, an internal leadership program for those looking to progress in their career.
Community Service Leave: Unpaid Community Service Leave to perform selected community services activities eg SES, CFA.
Salary Packaging: Up to $15,900 in tax-free pay per year plus other tax savings through meal/entertainment expenses up $2,650 per annum. Novated lease arrangements may also be available. Salary packaging is provided through AccessPay.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Wallara has partnered with DÁccord, an industry leader in the provision of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). Staff have access to confidential telephone counselling 24/7 and face-to-face counselling sessions.
Health and Wellbeing: Wallara’s health and wellbeing committee is made up of volunteer committed staff who develop innovative and engaging social and wellbeing activities across the organisation. Wallara also offers a range of health and wellbeing initiatives including additional paid wellbeing leave.
Reward and Recognition of Awesomeness: Peer to peer nominations of staff that go above and beyond are encouraged and a nominated staff member is chosen as the Wallara employee of the month for Random Acts and Recognition of Awesomeness, affectionately known as RARA.
Professional Membership: Wallara contributes up to $200 for staff membership fees with a professional registration body linked to their profession.
