A new in-demand textiles program is taking shape at Learning & Lifestyle
Flowers, sensory boards and bags are just some of the creations taking shape as Wallara clients learn to use sewing machines.
Across several Learning & Lifestyle sites, clients have been exploring sewing as part of STEAM activities — learning how to use the machines and turning their ideas into things they can make and use.
Sewing has proved so popular that a new Textiles program is in planning for next semester, giving clients more opportunities to build their sewing skills and take on different creative projects.
