Supported Independent Living (SIL) is support with everyday tasks at home for people who need daily support.
The support you receive is shaped around your needs, routines and goals, while the home is shared with other residents.
Support may include:

Understanding SIL Funding
Your NDIS plan may fund the support you receive at home through Supported Independent Living (SIL).
SIL funding can cover eligible support with everyday tasks, based on the supports included in your NDIS plan.
SIL funding does not generally cover everyday living costs such as:
- Rent
- Food
- Household expenses such as electricity, gas and internet
