Andrew Tufano named Westfield Local Hero finalist!

A huge congratulations to Andrew Tufano from Wallara Pakenham, named one of three finalists in the 2026 Westfield Fountain Gate Local Hero Awards!

Andrew was recognised for his work with Grassbusters, Wallara’s gardening and grounds maintenance day program, which has grown into one of the most popular programs at Pakenham.

Together with his Pakenham crew, Andrew has helped grow Grassbusters to more than 25 regular customers, with crews heading out into the local community every day.

As a Westfield Local Hero finalist, Andrew has been awarded a $5,000 grant for Wallara.

The funding will go towards new equipment for the Grassbusters team, helping clients continue their gardening and grounds maintenance work in the community.

A big thank you to everyone in the Wallara community who voted for Andrew and shared his nomination.

Andrew was one of just three finalists selected at Westfield Fountain Gate, as part of a national awards program that received more than 1,700 nominations across Australia and New Zealand.

Congratulations to Andrew and the whole Wallara Pakenham team. What a fantastic achievement!

Grassbusters is part of Wallara’s Horticulture & Environment Day Programs and Horticulture Pathways, where clients can learn practical gardening and grounds maintenance skills through day programs.
