This Easy Read document helps you understand changes to NDIS pricing at Wallara.
📅 What is happening?
- The NDIS has new prices for 2025–2026.
- Changes started on 1st July 2025.
- Wallara changed prices to match the new NDIS prices.
- Most prices increased by 3.95%.
💵 Why did prices go up?
- Wallara staff now get paid more.
- The Fair Work Commission increased wages by 3.5%.
- Superannuation went up from 11.5% to 12%.
- The NDIS price changes help cover these costs.
🧾 Will my NDIS plan change?
- The NDIA will add more money to your current plan.
- You will not get a new plan.
- These funds are to cover price increases only.
✅ What do I need to do?
- You do not need to do anything.
- New prices will be used automatically from 1st July 2025.
🟡 What if my NDIS money is getting low?
Think about why the money is low. Ask yourself:
- Did I need more help than I expected?
- Were there any surprise costs?
- Did I spend too much in one area?
Focus on what is most important and reduce anything that is not needed.
💡 Tips to make your funds last
- Check your invoices.
- Review your plan regularly.
- Use your funds evenly over your plan (e.g., monthly).
- Talk to providers if funds are low.
- Ask your Support Coordinator to help.
- If allied health funds are used up, talk to your GP about a Care Plan.
- Keep records of what you spend.
🔴 If you are running out of money
- Call NDIS on 1800 800 110.
- Ask for a Change of Circumstances Review.
- If your plan is extended, request a review instead.
- Give NDIS your reports, assessments, and show your progress.
