An award built on people and performance
Wallara Logistics have been recognised with the Transport & Logistics Award at the 2026 Greater Dandenong Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
The award celebrates the 222 people with disability working across Wallara Logistics, with jobs spanning pick and pack, assembly, warehousing, forklift operations, light fabrication and more, while helping deliver logistics services for 54 customers.
Presented on 13 August, the award comes after a year of new jobs and skills, growing customer work and some big operational milestones across Wallara Logistics.
Logistics services for government and business
Behind the award is a significant commercial operation, serving 54 customers across 12,000m² of warehouse space,, providing warehousing, packing, fulfilment and distribution services with 99.8% pick accuracy.
In FY26, Wallara Logistics Keysborough also achieved ISO accreditation, reinforcing the systems and standards behind the operation.
Across services including warehousing, packing, fulfilment and distribution, Wallara Logistics teams:
- Processed 10.4 million pieces of linen
- Counted and packed 9.2 million nose strips
- Sorted 6.8 million Myer security tags
- Fulfilled 19,000 orders containing more than 60,000 items
- Grew Light Fabrication work by more than 30%.
Supported Employment at Wallara Logistics
Supported employees can work across different areas of Wallara Logistics, learn new skills and explore opportunities that match their interests and employment goals.
That can include gaining a forklift licence or White Card, taking on new responsibilities or developing leadership skills through Wallara LEAD.
In FY26, eight emerging leaders graduated from Wallara LEAD, while nine people were in Open Employment placements and another eight were working towards this goal. Open Employment is one option, alongside opportunities to continue learning and developing within Supported Employment.
