Olivia turns a passion for cooking into employment
When Olivia joined the Monday crew at Sages Café, she tried her hand at both front and back-of-house roles to see what she enjoyed most.
Cooking clicked immediately.
Olivia enjoyed helping to preparing food, cook scones and working alongside others. With support from the team, she developed her kitchen skills and discovered work she genuinely enjoyed.
That experience opened the door to her next opportunity. In May, Olivia moved into Open Employment at Frankston RSL, where she now works front of house.
She brings her energy and warmth to every shift, continues to develop her hospitality skills and is a valued member of the team.
From trying different roles at Sages Café to finding work she enjoys at Frankston RSL, Olivia’s story shows what can happen when people have opportunities to explore what they enjoy, build their skills and take their next step.
